We are receiving more comments and emails about delivery than we can deal with.
Facts:
- If you backed one silver MK or “one silver and one black MK” your order is yet to be shipped (the delay of the silver MKs explained in the last update caused to reach the new year break). - All the other orders have been shipped. - Updating the tracking numbers to the system is a manual operation and needs quite some time. - Tracking numbers are updated only when they reach the next node, so it might look like it’s not moving but it is. - Try to feed your tracking number to your local post service or the company that the tracking number might say (ups, dhl etc...) to have more info.
We ask you to be patient as packages get different routes and services depending on countries and states they are shipped to.
If you have ordered any Silver Maker Knife we haven't shipped your order yet but the first 1000 are going out TODAY.
We really like the new anodization for the silver ones, being hard anodized it has a crazy hard surface that makes it a lot less prone to scratching. It also has a color that's slightly shifting to goldish depending on the light. It feels really smooth in the hand, I love it! I hope you will too! :)
I'm reading every single comment you guys leave and it's a real boost of motivation. Unfortunately, I can't reply but please don't stop! :) Oh... About that troll... We decided to cancel his order.

It's shipping time!
As you might know the team and I are in China assembling and shipping the MakerKnife. We are unfortunately behind schedule, at this very moment we should have finished the whole assembling and shipping but we are here:
PRODUCTION: 87%
ASSEMBLY: 67%
SHIPPED: 21%
We are learning from our mistakes and refining the process every single day to speed up the assembly line. It's four of us and 20 amazing Chinese friends who I'm pretty sure hate us deeply at this point. We're working from 8am to 11pm non stop to ensure the best quality we can (Locals have 3 breaks a day, we don't)!
We get many questions about delivery time but we can't make any promises. We're going ship all the orders from China in December but we cannot ensure that you will get if before Christmas because the post services are going crazy worldwide in this period.
You will receive a tracking number a couple of days after your parcel has been shipped.

Assembly of the Maker Knives starts NOW!
We are doing the groundwork for the assembly line as we speak. We are trying hard to be as efficient as possible to get as many knives out the door as we can. These will be some busy, busy and exciting days!
We would like to thank you for all of the support you have given us throughout this project. Without people like you, this knife wouldn't be more than a prototype and our team would not have been able to grow. We are now 5 makers and all we want to do is make stuff and share it with people. It's thanks to you that we can do that now.
We are happy to report that things are going well with production!

We are on schedule to start shipping in December and by now you should have received an email asking if the address we have for is still correct.
Since it might have been some months ago that you entered it, some of you might have moved, or maybe you want your Maker Knife to be delivered to another address. We just want to make sure so that your Maker Knife arrives at the right place instead of being returned back to us.
It will also allow us to prepare as much as possible around shipping and documentation before we arrive in China, saving us valuable time that we can put towards making and shipping the knives.
We hope you will receive your Maker Knife before Christmas, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee it will. The sheer volume of packages being sent worldwide during December puts a high pressure on customs and carrier services and might slow down the delivery. As soon as your package is shipped you will receive an email with tracking information so that you can keep an eye on the progress of the package traveling over the globe to your home.
